10,000 Litre Tank

With the increase of student and staff numbers, the water supply and storage, needs to be increased. This tank and pump was funded by a generous donor.

This was highlighted after three years of drought.

The storage capacity has been doubled with the installation of the 10,000L (2,640 US Gal) holding tank shown beside a stand holding two 5,000L header tanks.

New bore holes are planned but water holding capacity needs to be increased futher.

This is best done by installing eaves and then 5,000 & 10,000L tanks to each of suitable existing buildings to maxamise the rain harvest.

TARGET: Rain water tanks connected to every building and linked to form a integrated water supply system with the bore holes and the two 5,000 header tanks. If you can help, please put ”Water” in the “Your Reference” box.
