Brenda’s Story

I am the bread winner of the family. My husband does not work because of ill health.

I heard from people at the market that there was a small school (AF4K School)
enrolling orphans and needy children free of charge. I thought I should also give it a try.

I went in the only clothes I owned, a night dress.

Not only were the children accepted into the school, but I was given a job. I started with
just sweeping and cleaning the surroundings. The school even allowed me to come with
my baby at work.

Our lives are changed. I work for the school (AF4K), where the children are enrolled.
I get a salary.
