Ben’s Story

I am 18 years old, and lost my father before I was born, so never got to see him. I was raised by my mother who also later abandoned me. I was then raised by well-wishers and neighbours.

One day, Mrs Chimbila was doing a door-to-door tour of the Mushili community and she found me, hungry and malnourished. She took me to ALMs where I started in nursery school.

Thanks to ALMs, my life changed immediately. I was well-fed and clothed.

I am now studying hotel management and general hospitality. I hope to one day feed those who cannot afford a meal.
